Thailand travel is quite affordable these days with various packages available online or through travel agents. One way to save on your trip is to do some research in advance and find out the best time of year to visit before you leave for your Thailand tour. In fact, Thailand offers great travel opportunities even during the winter months of November to February as Thailand is one of the most popular tourist destinations around the world.

The cheapest time of year to take a holiday in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phuket, is mid-February to early March. This is the best time to visit the city center because the weather remains pleasant and the infrastructure remains relatively intact. Nakhon Si Thammarat offers a variety of accommodation options ranging from the more expensive unadulterated hotels to budget hotels. Accommodation is cheaper in Phuket at this time of year compared to other months. A full package holiday package is a good value idea if you are planning a trip to the city center.

Cheap flights to Phuket or Nakhon si Thammarat are easily available through Thailand’s large number of online travel agents and airlines. You can book tickets in advance to avoid last minute rush, and you can also avail of package deals that include accommodation, meals and tickets on selected flights. When you are in Thailand visiting prominent places such as Bangkok, Pattaya and Chiang Mai, you will find cheap flights to all these cities, and sometimes even to other destinations in Thailand. These airlines often run limited promotional fares in order to fill up their coffers, and they may not offer all flights and destinations, however, these low prices are still attractive.

You can start your journey in Phuket by taking a short drive over to Nakhon Si Thammarat. This coastal town is located at a distance of forty-five minutes from Bangkok. The bustling, noisy city center of The Bangkok is only just across the water from this charming seaside town. The two major international airports in Thailand that you can fly into when you arrive in Phuket are both located here and allow you to reach any destination in Thailand in a relatively short time. If you are flying into Phuket from other countries in Thailand, such as Hong Kong, you may be redirected to the Hong Kong airport, which is only 40 miles away from Nakhon Si Thammarat.

The cuisine of Thailand is renowned around the world and Nakhon Si Thammarat Province is known for its top restaurants and excellent cuisine. If you are looking to spend a quiet, relaxing day enjoying the natural beauty of Thailand’s sandy beaches, you will not be disappointed with the offerings on offer here. Some of the top spots include Bang Tao beach, which are known for white sand and crystal clear water; Wat Chalong beach, which is famous for being a well-known picnic spot for backpackers; and of course, the highly visited Chiang Mai, which is Thailand’s version of Paris. There is no shortage of things to do in and around Nakhon Si Thammarat province, making it an ideal place for a holiday break.

There are many sights and activities to enjoy on a trip to Thailand’s southern most islands. If you are looking to get away from the busy life of Bangkok, take a trip to the islands here. They are unique in their own way and have enough to keep anyone entertained. A trip to Thailand’s south seas is the perfect escape from the rat race, and the stunning beaches and natural beauty of its islands offer the ideal escape for those who fancy a break from the city.
